Ingredients
1 lb pork or chicken
1 cup hominy
2 tomatoes
1 onion
3 garlic cloves
2 guajillo chiles
1 tsp cumin
1 lime
Fresh cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Boil meat until tender and shred.
2. Roast tomatoes, onion, and garlic; blend with chiles.
3. Add puree to broth, then add hominy.
4. Simmer for 30–40 minutes.
5. Season and serve with toppings of your choice.
Notes
Pozole can be made red, green, or white depending on chiles.
